I didn’t build O.C.D. Business Services because I wanted to create another bookkeeping firm.

I built it because I kept seeing businesses spend time and money solving the wrong problem. They replaced software that was not broken, hired another bookkeeper without addressing the process issues underneath the work, or brought in higher-level financial support before the underlying records were reliable. Often, the problem was not a lack of effort. No one had stepped back far enough to look at how the numbers, systems, processes, and people were affecting one another.

After more than 20 years working across bookkeeping, payroll, accounting systems, financial cleanup, reporting, software conversions, and process improvement, I realized that my greatest value was not simply completing transactions. It was recognizing the connections other people missed. A confusing report may be only the visible symptom. The real cause could be an unreconciled account, incorrect system setup, a payroll issue, a broken handoff, or a process the business has outgrown.

O.C.D. Business Services helps business owners understand what is actually happening, separate symptoms from root causes, and determine what needs attention first. I review the numbers, the systems behind them, and the processes that produce them. Then I translate what I find into clear priorities and practical next steps.

Sometimes the answer is cleanup. Sometimes it is a better workflow, stronger documentation, a system correction, improved controls, or support from another specialist. Sometimes the most valuable outcome is confirming what is working and identifying the few areas that truly need attention. My goal is not to make the situation sound more complicated than it is. It is to give business owners the clarity and reliable information they need to make confident decisions about what comes next.
